Hi, I’m Manvendra

I’m a backend and AI engineer who spends most of his day with Python, Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Go, and increasingly Rust and the LLM ecosystem. I write here under the handle AlzyWelzy, mostly about the things I’m building, learning, and breaking — with occasional detours into fitness and personal reflection.

My portfolio lives at rajpoot.dev . That’s where you’ll find my projects, work history, résumé, and ways to get in touch. This blog (blog.rajpoot.dev ) is the writing arm of it.

What I write about

  • AI engineering — RAG, agents, LangChain/LangGraph, embeddings, pgvector, evaluations, MCP.
  • Backend engineering — Python, Django, FastAPI, Go, Rust, TypeScript with Hono and Bun, async, ORMs, API design.
  • Databases — PostgreSQL deep dives, indexing, JSONB, vector search, performance tuning.
  • System design — distributed systems fundamentals, classic interview problems (URL shortener, rate limiter), the patterns that compound at scale.
  • Platform / DevOps — Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps with Argo CD, OpenTelemetry, supply chain security, platform engineering.
  • Personal — the occasional reflection that has nothing to do with code.

I try to keep posts practical, honest, and free of fluff. If something I wrote helped you, that’s the goal. If something is wrong, please tell me — I’d rather be corrected than confidently wrong.
